XMarkets: Market Infrastructure for the Omnichain Ecosystem
Version 1.0 — October 2026 · xmarkets.ca
Abstract
XMarkets is the market layer of Omnichain, a 39-token utility ecosystem on the Avalanche C-Chain. It provides three services in one place: treasury-direct listings that sell ecosystem tokens at a fixed utility price of 1 token = 1 AVAX; community listings where any holder can offer tokens at a price they set themselves; and a swap service that exchanges any ecosystem token for any other at a fixed 1:1 rate with no swap fee, paid from the exchange’s own inventory. All settlement happens in a single public smart contract on Avalanche, and users keep custody of their own wallets at all times. XMarkets exists so that the tokens people earn through participation in the ecosystem can be obtained, exchanged, and used for access — plainly, at published prices, on public infrastructure.
1. Introduction & Problem
Utility tokens only work if ordinary people can actually get them and use them. When acquiring a token requires a centralized exchange account in another currency, an unfamiliar trading interface, and a price that moves by the minute, most people simply never start — and a participation economy with no participants is just a ledger. The ecosystem also needs the reverse path: a participant who holds a token for one sector should be able to exchange it for the token of another sector without friction, spreads, or a second marketplace account.
XMarkets addresses both directions with fixed, published terms: the treasury price is 1 token = 1 AVAX, and swaps are 1:1. There is no order book to read, no spread to calculate, and no price discovery required of the user on the treasury rails. Where community members trade with each other, the seller’s own price governs and is shown before any purchase.
2. The Platform
XMarkets provides three services:
Treasury-direct listings. The ecosystem treasury lists tokens for direct purchase with AVAX at the fixed utility price of 1 AVAX per token. A buyer connects a wallet, chooses an amount, and the settlement contract delivers the tokens in the same transaction that takes payment. A 3% market fee applies; on treasury listings the treasury receives both the sale proceeds and the fee, so the full amount paid stays in the ecosystem treasury that funds participation payouts and network costs.
Community listings. Any holder can list tokens for sale at a price they choose. Listed tokens are held in escrow by the settlement contract until the listing sells or the seller cancels, in which case the tokens return to the seller in full. On a community sale the seller receives 97% of the price and the treasury receives the 3% market fee, paid automatically by the contract at settlement.
Swaps. Any ecosystem token can be swapped for any other at a fixed 1:1 rate with a 0% swap fee. Swaps are paid from the exchange’s own inventory of each token, which the treasury stocks in advance. A swap is limited only by the inventory of the token being received.
3. Token & Utility Model
The ecosystem’s tokens are utility instruments. They are earned for verified participation, held for access, and spent on services:
- Earned for participation. On Omnichain, uploading a bill or receipt starts a verification process — optical character recognition, a SHA-256 hash of the document anchored on Avalanche, and allocations across the 39 tokens — with payouts made automatically and the treasury paying all network gas.
- Held for access. Token gates are holds, not spends. Holding at least 1 OMC unlocks mining uploads on Omnichain; holding CJV unlocks module subscriptions on CCJV, the ecosystem’s ERP platform. A gate checks the wallet’s balance: nothing is transferred or consumed, and access continues for as long as the hold is maintained.
- Utility price. At the treasury, 1 token = 1 AVAX. This is a pricing convention for access and exchange inside the ecosystem — the terms on which the treasury itself sells and swaps — published openly so every participant faces the same price.
4. Architecture
XMarkets runs on the Avalanche C-Chain (chain ID 43114). Its settlement contract is deployed on Avalanche mainnet at 0xf89F4b169BcC2472bB3ab9Cd1B21c26b10510eF3 and is the single point of settlement for listings and swaps:
- Listings are escrowed in the contract. Purchases can be partial, overpayment is refunded in the same transaction, and a purchase pays the seller and the fee recipient atomically — there is no state in which a buyer has paid and not received.
- Swaps execute against inventory the contract custodies. The quote the website shows is read from the contract itself, so the price a user sees is the price the contract will settle at.
- Fees are set in the contract: a 3% market fee on purchases and a 0% swap fee.
- Inventory. The contract’s token inventory (its float) is stocked by the treasury and is publicly readable on-chain for all 39 tokens.
The website (xmarkets.ca) is an interface to this contract. It holds no balances, signs nothing, and cannot move a user’s tokens: every transaction is proposed to the user’s own wallet and takes effect only when the user confirms it there.
5. Tokenomics
The ecosystem comprises 39 tokens, one per sector, each with a total supply of 15 trillion, on Avalanche. The full list is published at omnichain.ca/tokens. Distribution is by participation: tokens are allocated to users whose verified activity — beginning with scanned bills and receipts on Omnichain — earns them, and the treasury additionally sells tokens directly at the utility price and stocks the swap inventory. There is no yield, no staking return, and no promise of appreciation anywhere in the model; tokens are instruments for access and exchange inside the ecosystem, and the treasury price is a fixed convention, not a market forecast.
6. Ecosystem & the Customer Journey
XMarkets is one of three platforms that share the same 39 tokens. Omnichain (omnichain.ca) is where tokens are earned: receipt mining, on-chain anchoring, and automatic payouts. CCJV (ccjv.ca) is the federated ERP core — CRM, HRM, project management, IoT, calendar, and accounting modules operated centrally for all sector ERPs — where holding CJV unlocks module subscriptions. XMarkets is where tokens are bought, listed, and swapped.
The standard journey connects them: a new participant opens a Kraken account and buys AVAX, moves it to a self-custody MetaMask wallet on Avalanche, buys OMC, XMA and CJV on XMarkets at the treasury price, mines on Omnichain (the OMC holding satisfies the upload gate), subscribes to CCJV modules (the CJV holding satisfies the module gates), and returns to XMarkets whenever they want to swap between tokens at 1:1. A complete step-by-step version of this journey is published as the XMarkets Guide.
7. Security & Custody
XMarkets is built around self-custody. Users hold their assets in their own wallets; the site never sees, stores, or can recover a private key or recovery phrase, and no key material of any user’s exists on any server. The settlement contract’s code is public on Avalanche and its behaviour — escrow, fees, refunds, inventory — can be read and verified by anyone. The contract is owned by the ecosystem treasury wallet, which alone can adjust its allowlist, fees, and inventory. Standard risks of self-custody apply and are set out plainly in the Risk Disclosure: a lost recovery phrase means lost assets, and no service can restore them.
8. Status & Roadmap
Live and verified today: the settlement contract is deployed on Avalanche mainnet at the address in Section 4, with all 39 tokens enabled; treasury-direct listings, community listings, and 1:1 swaps are operating on xmarkets.ca; the contract’s swap inventory is stocked at 1,000,000 tokens per token; and real purchases and swaps by external wallets have settled through the public site. Within the wider ecosystem, Omnichain mining with automatic payouts and the CCJV module federation are live. Development continues across the ecosystem — including the rollout of sector ERP sites that federate with CCJV — and this document will be revised as material capabilities change. Nothing in this section is a promise of future features or timelines.
9. Risks
Participation involves real risks, including volatile prices on community markets, smart-contract risk, inventory limits on swaps, self-custody risk, and regulatory change. These are set out plainly in the Investment Risk Disclosure, which every participant should read before using XMarkets. The Privacy Statement describes what the site collects and how it is handled.
10. Disclaimer
